The Erasmus mobility 2020/2021 can be carried out in 3 modes:
- On-line from Italy
- On-line and/or in person in the host country
- Blended: in Italy and in the host country
The student carrying out mode 1 is not eligible of any grant, although it had the recipient status formerly. All the procedures Before, During and After the mobility will have to be complied (excluding the bank details uploading).
The student carrying out mode 2 receives the grant if recipient. At the beginning of the mobility, boarding pass or other travel tickets must be sent together with the Erasmus certificate.
The student carrying out mode 3 receives the grant (if recipient) for the period abroad which has to be 3 months long minimum.
The Erasmus+ programme allows to spend a period of study at an European host university lasting between 3 and 12 months. During this period, the student’s academic career will be considered “suspended for mobility.”
Possible activities during the period of study abroad are:
- attending courses
- taking exams - thesis preparation.
Unlike the former LLP/Erasmus programme, Erasmus+ allows to carry out mobilities to a maximum of:
- Three-years undergraduate, Masters, and PhD courses: 12 months
- Long cycle courses ((five-year combined bachelors and masters degree program): 24 months
Eventual Erasmus for traineeship mobilities must be included in the calculation.
- Not all the universities accepts mobilities for thesis preparation
- Not all the universities accept period reduction
Therefore the students are suggested to contact directly the host university for further details.
- ON-LINE LANGUAGE SUPPORT
Erasmus+ is the new EU programme for education, training, youth and sport for the period 2014-2020. Erasmus+ offers opportunities to study, train, gain work experience or volunteer abroad and one of its strategic objectives is to strengthen linguistic skills and support language learning.
The Online Linguistic Support (OLS) supports language learning for Erasmus+ mobility participants. The OLS offers participants in Erasmus+ long-term mobility activities (Key Action 1) the opportunity to assess their skills in the foreign language(s) they will use to study, work or volunteer abroad. In addition, selected participants may follow an online language course to improve their competence.
The tests at the beginning and end of the mobility are mandatory.
The notice of selection will presumably be lauched in January 2021 after the publication of the guidelines of the Programme 2021/2027.
Notice from the Language Center concerning the language evaluation.
From March 13th to 16th at 1 p.m., the assignees of a mobility up to 6 months are asked to choose the semester in the Segreteria on-line. No choice will deliver a first-semester nomination.
