Information regarding student and staff mobility:

It is possible to cancel, suspend or postpone activities by applying the force majeure clause.
Mobility activities for students and staff selected in Call 2019 that have been cancelled may be postponed until September 2021.

Mobility of recent graduates for traineeship purposes: students whose graduation sessions have been postponed, but cannot postpone mobility, shall be able to undertake, when circumstances allow, the mobility for traineeship purposes for which they have been selected once they graduate.

Current outbound student mobility: Italian students who are currently on Erasmus mobility can continue their mobility in the host country. Any interruption of teaching activities at the host institutions due to the Covid-19 emergency will not be considered as periods of interruption of mobility and the grant will be maintained.

Cancelled student and staff mobility periods: students and staff whose mobility period has been cancelled due to force majeure, any costs of which have been recognized in accordance with this Note, may be postponed by assigning the same contribution to the participant for the new mobility period (without prejudice to the maximum period of 12 months of study abroad).

For staff mobility: in the event of interruption and suspension of activity, you are advised to keep (as already specified in the Selection Notices) all receipts and payment slips for any expenses for which you wish to request reimbursement.

THE PROGRAMME

The Erasmus+ programme allows to spend a period of study  at an European host university lasting between 3 and 12 months. During this period, the student’s academic career will be considered “suspended for mobility.”

Possible activities during the period of study abroad are:
- attending courses
- taking exams
- thesis preparation.

Unlike the former LLP/Erasmus programme, Erasmus+ allows to carry out mobilities to a maximum of:

- Three-years undergraduate, Masters, and PhD courses: 12 months

- Long cycle courses ((five-year combined bachelors and masters degree program): 24 months

Eventual Erasmus for traineeship mobilities must be included in the calculation.

WATCH OUT!

- Not all the universities accepts mobilities for thesis preparation

- Not all the universities accept period reduction

Therefore the students are suggested to contact directly the host university for further details.

  • ON-LINE LANGUAGE SUPPORT

Erasmus+ is the new EU programme for education, training, youth and sport for the period 2014-2020. Erasmus+ offers opportunities to study, train, gain work experience or volunteer abroad and one of its strategic objectives is to strengthen linguistic skills and support language learning.

The Online Linguistic Support (OLS) supports language learning for Erasmus+ mobility participants. The OLS offers participants in Erasmus+ long-term mobility activities (Key Action 1) the opportunity to assess their skills in the foreign language(s) they will use to study, work or volunteer abroad. In addition, selected participants may follow an online language course to improve their competence.

The tests at the beginning and end of the mobility are mandatory.
