Long-term mobility ranges from 2 to 12 months, subject to the limitations specified in the call for applications, while short-term mobility ranges from 5 to 30 days.
Applicants must secure a host institution in advance and agree upon the dates and the activities to be carried out. Subsequently, they must request the host institution to send the completed acceptance letter—on official letterhead, signed and stamped—to [email protected] and to their own email address (in the same email message).

Institutions and other bodies of the European Union, including the Court of Justice of the European Union and the European Court of Auditors, as well as other institutions and inter-institutional bodies that perform specialized functions.

Organizations that manage European Union programs, such as the Erasmus+ National Agencies, in order to avoid potential conflicts of interest and/or double funding.
In case of doubt, the final decision on the eligibility of the organization and/or company rests with the Erasmus+ National Agency.

b) Acceptance letters according to the type of mobility:
1. Long-term mobility: curricular traineeship (with academic credit recognition)
2. Long-term mobility: voluntary traineeship (without academic credit recognition) or post-graduate traineeship
3. Short-term mobility
The signatory for Unisi (University of Siena) varies depending on the type of mobility:
For Letter 1: the signature must be provided by the Chair of the Teaching Committee or the Director of the 3rd level course (PhD), or their Delegate.
For Letters 2 and 3: the signature must be provided by the Department Representative for internationalisation
Mobility in the home country is permitted only if the traineeship is curricular (with academic credit recognition).
Students willing to apply for an Erasmus for traineeship mobility have to:
– find a receiving organisation and agree with the mobility period and activities to be carried out
- provide the receiving organisation with the acceptance letter template asking to return it filled, signed and stamped to [email protected] and their own email address (same message)
WARNING. Acceptance letters sent by the receiving organisation from generic domains (gmail, hotmail etc.) will be rejected
