The European Liberal Arts Network (ELAN) is an innovative educational network designed to promote and develop a Liberal Arts approach to tertiary education. Established in 2013, ELAN brings together eleven leading European Higher Education Institutions with experience in Liberal Arts and/or a strong focus on interdisciplinary research and teaching in the Arts and Humanities.
The network will be joined by local non-academic institutions such as museums, galleries and publishing companies as well as in further perspective by selected partners from North America, Australia and Asia.

RECIPIENTS:
The opportunities offered in this call for applications are for students at the University of Siena who are regularly enrolled in first cycle (three-year), single cycle or second cycle degree courses or in degree courses under the old university regulations at the following Departments:
- Philology and literary criticism
- Education, Human Sciences and Intercultural Communication
- History and cultural heritage
- Social, political and cognitive sciences (except the Degree course in Social Work)
- Political and international sciences
Admission requirements vary, depending on the destination. Please consult the ELAN website for further information.
Students with a weighted average of 27/30 or higher may apply.
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS
