The course's aim is to introduce the student both to the epistemological and to the operative/practical side of research methodology.
The course is divided in three parts: theoretical foundations (epistemology of the social sciences), methods (qualitative techniques) and fieldwork (students will be grouped together and expected to perform a small research - its outcome will be presented within the course.

The exam take a written form and requires a full understanding of the prescribed literature. 4 general questions will be proposed, 3 of which have to be answered.
