In the course will be addressed the following issues:
1) with regard to the Labour law in the strict sense: a brief historical sketch of the labour law. The sources of production of the rules: law, collective autonomy, individual autonomy. The employment and work within the confines of employment. Contract of employment and the labour market: employment contracts "flexible"; the organization of the labour market and work active policies. Constitution and administration of the employment relationship: rights and duties of the worker; powers of the employer and their legal and contractual limits; the protection of individual workers (freedom, dignity, privacy, health and safety). The debt pay. Enterprise crisis and transformation: business transfers; crisis management and business of surplus staff. The extinction of the employment. Anti-discriminination protection law. The guarantees of labour rights.
2) with regard to the Trade union law: the industrial relations system and its evolution. The trade union organization. The trade union freedom. Representation and representativeness. Organization and trade union activity in the workplace. Collective bargaining: the evolution of the system, structure and content. Consultation and social dialogue. The collective conflict: the strike; the strike in essential public services.
