The exam consists in an oral discussion, focussed on the relevant primary sources . The student must also show to possess a basic knowledge of the history of Greek philosophy. In particular. it is required an in-depth knowledge of the following texts:

In evaluating the exam, it will be taken into account, above all, the students' mastery of the contents, their ability to synthesise and analyze themes and concepts, and their appropriate use of the specific philosophical language.
