Lectures and exercises.
Written test followed by an oral exam.
The written part consists of three or four exercises, where the candidate has to demonstrate the ability in formalizing and solving basic problems. The written exam may include a short structured part devoted to verify synthetically the knowledge of basic and elementary information. The oral part concerns some theoretical aspects and formalisms, but may contain simple exercises in the cases where some weakness emerged in the written part. The consistence of the oral part may vary slightly, also on the basis of the characteristics of the exercises proposed for the written exam.
The oral part closes the exam: a failure makes a new written exam necessary.
