The test for admission to degree in medicine and surgery is ordered by the MIUR, and it is carried out simultaneously with the same content all over Italian country. The admission test consists in the solution of eighty questions that have five answer choices, of which only one correct, on the following topics: general culture and logical reasoning, biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics. The programs of each topic are determined by the MIUR and the admission test is planned as follows: forty questions of general culture and logical reasoning; eighteen of biology, eleven of chemistry and eleven of physics and mathematics. All the students will be listed according to the final score obtained in the admission test and a number of them corresponding to the scheduled availability will be admitted to the Laurea Magistrale in Medicine and Surgery
It is necessary to have acquired knowledge in: logical and general culture, biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics. Such knowledge are considered to be acquired with the admission to the degree course. Moreover, it is necessary to possess the basic english language which will be tested during the degree course.

Students enrolled in first cycle, second cycle and long single cycle degree programmes pay annual fees in one or several installments (up to a maximum of four).
The amount of tuition fees is based on both the student’s family income, as declared in the ISEE certification, and on merit (number of credits achieved within August 10th of each year).
The ISEE values for the calculation of contribution range from a minimum of € 16.000,00 up to a maximum of € 90.000,00 in order to properly consider the real economic conditions of the family. For ISEE less than € 16.000,00 no contribution is expected.
