Double Degrees

Double degree programmes

A Double degree programme allows students to be awarded their Degree at the University of Siena and one at a foreign partner institution. A call for applications for our Double Degree Programmes is published every January/February. Here are the destinations for each Degree course:

ECONOMICS, LAW, POLITICAL SCIENCES and SOCIAL SCIENCES

  • Economics (taught in English): University of Ljubljana (Slovenia); University of Uppsala (Sweden)
  • Economics and management of financial institutions (taught in Italian): Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod (Russian Federation), Vilnius University (Lithuania)
  • Finance (taught in English): University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), Romanian American University Bucarest (Romania)
  • Management e Governance, curriculum Accounting and Management (taught in English): Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod (Russian Federation)

 

CULTURAL HERITAGE, EDUCATION, LITERATURE, LANGUAGES, HISTORY and PHILOSOPHY

  • Archaeology (taught in Italian): Université Rennes II (France)
  • History and philosophy (taught in Italian): Université Pierre Mendès; Grenoble (France)
  • Language and Mind: Linguistic and Cognitive Studies (taught in English); Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (France)

 

PHYSICS, ENGINEERING, MATHEMATICS

  • Electronics and Communications Engineering (taught in English): Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Spain)

 

 

DOUBLE DEGREE PROGRAMMES 2017/2018 - School of Economics & Management

The School of Economics and Management is involved in cooperation programmes with the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), Uppsala University (Sweden), Romanian-American University (Bucarest, Romania), Lobachevsky State University- Nizhni Novgorod (Russian Federation), Siberian Federal University (Russian Federation), Vilnius University (Lithuania)

which permit students on the following second cycle (Laurea magistrale) degree courses:

  • Management and Governance, specialization in Accounting and Management
  • Finance-Finanza
  • Economia/Economics, specialization Economics
  • Economia e gestione degli intermediari finanziari

to earn a double degree.

DOUBLE DEGREE PROGRAMMES 2017/2018 - Language and Mind: Linguistic and Cognitive Studies

The Department of Linguistics and Cognitive Studies is involved in cooperation programmes with the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (France), which permit students on the second cycle (laurea magistrale) degree course in Language and Mind: Linguistics and Cognitive Studies to gain a double degree.

Students who successfully complete the Programme will be awarded both the Master in Language and Mind: Linguistics and Cognitive Studies of the University of Siena and the Master en Philosophie, parcours logique et philosophie des sciences of the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.

DOUBLE DEGREE PROGRAMMES 2017/2018 - Electronics and Communications Engineering

The Department of Information Engineering and Mathematics is involved in a cooperation programme with the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Spain), which permits students on the second cycle (laurea magistrale) degree course in Electronics and Communications Engineering to earn a double degree.

Students who successfully complete the programme will be awarded both the Master in Electronics and Communications Engineering of the University of Siena and the Máster en Ingeniería de Telecomunicación of the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

DOUBLE DEGREE PROGRAMMES 2017/2018 - Université Pierre Mendès France Grenoble II

The Department of Department of History and cultural heritage is involved in a cooperation programme with the Université Pierre Mendès France Grenoble II (Francia) which permits students on the second cycle (laurea magistrale) degree course in History and Philosophy to earn a double degree.

Students who successfully complete the programme will be awarded the Master Histoire et histoire de l’art. Spécialité Histoire des relations et echanges culturels internationaux de l’antiquité à nos jours.
